DUX is the finest furniture brand to ever come out of Sweden, with an international acclaim otherwise reserved only for a handful of the best Italian brands. In many ways DUX is still recognised for Bruno Mathsson’s legendary designs of the 70’s and 80’s and the successful Bra Bohag (’Good Household Goods’) concept. So taking on the challenge of creating a full new contemporary collection for DUX in 2017 is no small task. It can make even the established Scandinavian designer somewhat shaky.

In front of us we’ve seen Bruno Mathsson’s forms, we’ve seen uncompromising handmade quality, we’ve seen Scandinavia and we’ve seen the world.

Like with Bruno Mathsson the strict and the curvaceous live together. As do form and function. A functionality that is not just ergonomy but also furnishability. And, above all, a strive for an elegance that, in Mathsson’s own words, ’resist the wear of the eye’.
